Often yes — balancing the blades and checking the mounting fixes most wobble. But if it's hung from a non-fan-rated box, the box needs replacement, not the blades.
Can you install a fan where there's only a light?
Usually yes. We replace the box with a fan-rated one and wire for separate fan and light control. You'll know the price in writing first.
Do ceiling fans really save energy?
They let you raise the thermostat a few degrees with the same comfort, which cuts AC runtime. The fan itself uses very little electricity.
